After ENLIGHTENMENT …. Now WHAT?

30 05 2008

After having a first hand experience of being the eternal ‘all’
and then going back to the personal, objective perspective as
a primate on a planet in an objective reality
what to do?

Living for me becomes
a practice of being conscious of my true Self
and
having fun ‘playing’ within our collective dream.

Learning to ’sense’ my complete presence here in our eternal Self (or eternity)
and letting go of the old primate induced ‘fears’ I entertained.

From a human (or divided perspective)
I do this by bringing my attention continuously back to the ‘now’ (eternity)
AND
Practice ’sensing’ myself as everything in the ‘now’.
THEN
Sometimes I just have fun and incorporate my sense of my true identity
in our collective dreamscape.

A lot of human words for saying I’m learning to be our true Self!
OR
I’m learning to be ‘us’ and have a great time.

Being the ALL

30 05 2008

Alex Grey
After we’ve had the first hand experience of the reality of Oneness
and shrink back to our normal objective perspectives it’s a little like
wow…what was that and how do I get back there??”

As the Vedas first taught us and logic dictates…
Existence itSelf is an eternal expansion and contraction
( see The Eternal Cycle )

It our very collective consciousness/Self that expands into complexity and sprouts
these micro viewing points to look around inside ourself.

So the bottom line is it is the natural behavior of our Self to expand and contract.
This means that as portions of our Self we have the same innate abilty.

So what eh? Bear with me here.

Since our true Self is already and always ALL…
it’s just a matter of expanding my sense of self to realize mySelf as ALL.

Being used to an objective reality of objects and people, it may seem strange
to think I can expand my sense of Self to be ALL but it is a natural move.
Sure it defies objective logic but so does the idea that life is subjectively conscious
without form or a nervous system and that’s true.

Knowing it defies the laws of nature (to release my mental blocks/resistence)
AND
knowing I’m already (t)HERE
I just let my feeling of myself expand.

It’s that simple and it works…try it…you’lll like it.

Here’s one exercise I designed which is fun and works.
Sit outside somewhere ( a park bench is good ) and get as
relaxed as possible sitting there. Now pay attention to your
breathing.
On the exhale ’sense’ your feeling of your self (normally confined
to your body) expand with your breathe as far as you can.
On the inhale ’sense’ your feeling of your self returning to just your body.
I even say to myself ‘in’ on the inhale and ‘out’ on the exhale.

It’s particularly ‘trippy’ to do this while your body is walking.

After doing it a few times sure eliminates any fear of death
you may have had (if you had any).

No-thing Is REAL

27 05 2008

Question to our collective Self:
One minute something was existing, now it doesn’t exist.
So isn’t the statement ” something doesnt exist?” a true statement?
If it is, can we also say that non-existence is also an aspect of reality?

Answer:
English semantics can be misleading.
We (humans) use the word ‘existed’ in ways that are not factual because hominids
think this objective world and everything that appears in it is ‘existing’ in and of itself.
That this objective world is ‘existence’ and that’s not true.

Let me explain.

In truth, what is a ‘thing’? What is ‘existence’?

‘Things’ are just the temporary movement of consciousness
in a ’seemingly identical’ (to the human senses) repetitive pattern whether it’s a subatomic
quark or a universe.

‘Existence’ is consciousness.
That ‘always present’ beingness.
It’s ALWAYS the only thing and non-thing that’s real or ‘existing’.

So the portion of consciousness creating that temporary pattern we
call ’something’ is always existing…even after it’s moved on to a new shape
or no shape. And the shape or pattern humans call a ‘thing’ never became existence
it was just part of existence in a ’seemingly identical ‘repetitive pattern.

That’s why Buddha called our temporary objective reality an illusion…
it’s just the dance of consciousness.
